Greetings Women in Business members and supporters,
Time for our monthly Women in Business Network meeting! The months of August and September went by fast! Now we are enjoying cooler fall-like weather and it feels great!
Thursday, September 22nd is the 4th Thursday of the month and as you know, that is the set time our normal monthly Women in Business meeting. Our member Kit Marshall has graciously invited us to use her meeting room once again.
Chef Caroline is requesting that we bring another of our favorite recipes, especially those that could not make it to the last meeting! She has been working diligently on the WIBN Historical Cookbook Fundraiser and it is getting closer all the time! As we mentioned at the last meeting, to help defray printing costs we are encouraging members to choose their favorite family recipe, prepare it, bring it to the meeting with a copy of the recipe printed out (or on a flash drive) and the cost will only be $10 for the first recipe and $20 for 2 – 5 recipes. Also, if you would like to have your business card printed with your recipe, it will only be an additional $2 per recipe. What a great way to advertise your business!
We need to know how many people can make this meeting, especially since our Annual Conference and Dinner will be the following Thursday, September 29th at Belcampo. It promises to be a great event! You can get your tickets at the meeting or by going to see Shannon Salvestro at Tri-Counties Bank, Heidi Martin at Heidi’s Sewing Room and Mercantile or Pamela Johnson at Express Employment Professionals. We need all our members to plan to attend the Annual Meeting along with the Mount Shasta Chapter members and we are running a special for new members! So if you know of anyone who has been thinking about joining Women In Business, now is the time!
So please RSVP for the September 22nd meeting. If we have enough interest, we will still plan to have the meeting and move forward with our Women In Business Historical Cookbook Fundraiser. Also, RSVP for the Annual Conference and Dinner at Belcampo. It is a beautiful location, the food will be excellent, The Friends of the Fair will provide a wonderful “attitude adjustment” Happy Hour with wine, beer and a featured special drink put together just for this occasion The speakers will be captivating! It is a wonderful opportunity to network with other women in business in the area! Hope to see you all there. Bring a friend!
