Ask an Herbalist!

Saturday October 16, from 10am to 5pm
featuring Cara Saunders, Herbalist for Bear Wallow Herbs
at Sereni-tea, downtown Mt Shasta at 319 N. Mt Shasta Blvd.

Here’s your chance to talk with a local herbalist who has 10 years experience growing, harvesting, and using herbs as medicine. You can also taste and feel samples of organic tinctures, salves, glycerites, and massage oils. This is a great opportunity to stock your medicine cabinet with organic handmade herbal products from herbs grown or sustainably wild harvested around Mt Shasta.

Bear Wallow Herbs products are on sale at Sereni-tea for all of October, Mon-Fri 10am to 6pm and Saturdays 10am to 5pm.

If you can’t make the event and have any questions about which herbs are the best for you, please feel free to contact me by phone or email.

Here’s your chance to ask questions about Measure A, Mt. Shasta’s Water Ordinance. You will find out: Why is Measure A so important to you & your family, our community, local business, and all of California? What’s at stake with it being stripped from the ballot? How did it originate and why it is considered controversial? Presented by Ami Marcus and Molly Brown who have been involved with the Water Ordinance since its inception.

Ami Marcus is Vice President of Business Development for IMPAQ, a global consultancy that supports Fortune 500 leaders through culture change, and is founder of PlanetVision Productions whose current projects include Sustain Games; a reality TV series designed to accelerate a shift in global consciousness by co-creating a new story for humanity.

Molly Young Brown, M.A., M.Div, a Mount Shasta resident, is co-editor of Held in Love: Life Stories to Sustain Us Through Times of Change (2009) and author of Growing Whole: Self-realization for the Great Turning (2009).
