Last Minute Call for Kids’ Ukulele Camp Begins This Monday 10-11! Call me today if you would like to participate.

ONGOING CLASSES

*** Jewelry Making with Jane – a new class is forming now. Day and time will depend on participants. Learn about different types of stones, beads and metals, and learn stylish layouts and tying techniques. if you missed it until now, here is one more opportunity. $50 for four sessions. Call this week if interested.

Painting for Kids – Children will have an opportunity to engage in an exploration of styles, color and composition. Ages 6 – 12. $8 per session or $40 for six sessions.

Wednesdays 2:00-5:00
Card Making Club – Learn to make different styles of cards using a variety of tools. $12 per session. Ages teen-adult.

Saturdays 12-3
Painting for Adults – Alek Balos will gently guide you to enhance your painting skills using the medium of your choice. Good for beginners as well as advanced painters. Ages 16 – adult. $120 for six sessions or $30 drop-in, materials Not included. A new class may open if there are more registrations.
Enrolling now for Beginning Hebrew – An easy paced no-homework class – $28 a month, with a beginning 2-month commitment. Need to miss a class? No problem, we move slowly and repeat often so you can make up any missed material.

Basket Weaving for Kids – Make a small basket using wood, willow and raffia. Ages 6-12. $12, materials included,

Wed. July 10-31, 6:30-7:30 pm
Intro to the Ukulele – Jean Marie will teach 4 weekly sessions. Learn the commonly used chords and learn to strum Hawaiian, folk and popular music in four one-hour lessons! Ages teen-adult. $45. Rent a ukulele for $5 or buy for $30.

Crystals & Fossils for Kids with Cathy Casey – Create a collection of minerals and fossils, learn about their origins and history. Learn how to identify the ones you see in nature. Cathy Casey, known as The Rock Lady in Southern California, is a new teacher in town. She will teach a Hands-On class where you learn through hands-on experience. Take home your own collection! $10 – ages 6-14.

Sunday July 14, 11:30 am – 2:00 or 4-6 pm
Stepping Stones – Make two decorated stepping stones for your garden. All Ages $15, Accents included, and you can also bring your own items to embed in the cement.

Sunday July 21, 1-4 pm
Sand Plaster Casting – Make small sculptures, hand prints or footprints. All ages. $12, accents included, and you can also bring your own items to embed.

Sunday July 28, 1-3 pm
Let’s make fairies! Make small fairies to decorate your room from a variety of natural materials. All ages, parental supervision required for young children. $12

Mondays in July, 6-7 pm
Dream Interpretation Workshop – Learn how to ‘capture’ your dreams and find the personal message they are sending to you. We will use several different methods, including the science of dreaming, art therapy and traditional analysis, as well as some alternative perspectives on dreaming. Presentation will be by several guest teachers.
$20 for four sessions in July. Preregistration required.
